Psychology students (in top left photo) Daryl Mitzi Evangelista, Carla Marie Mico, Dr. Ma. Celia Aguila, Jolina Joanna Angeli Chan, and Ma. Alessandra Angeles placed 2nd in the Best Thesis for the Undergraduate award given by the Psychological Association of the Philippines – Junior Affiliates (PAPJA). The awarding was held last January 20 at the PAPJA Convention, SMX Convention Center (right photo).
Their winning thesis is titled, "Social Support and Problem-Focused Coping Moderated by Age as Predictors of Disaster Resilience Among Disaster Survivors".
Dr. Celia Aguila, Dr. Malou Baybay, and AJ Sagmit were the team’s adviser, research teacher, and critic reader, respectively.
