The World Interfaith Harmony Forum on “Our Shared Values as a Foundation of our Muslim-Christian Harmony” was held at the ESI Conference room last February 4. This forum served as the opening session of a seminar for Muslim and Christian Youth who were in Miriam College to deepen their knowledge about peace building and interfaith understanding. The main speakers were Prof. Macrina Morados of the UP Institute of Islamic Studies and Marites Africa of the Peacemakers Circle. A solidarity message was given by Jonathan Gilbert of the Australian Embassy, which supported the seminar and forum. Nearly 300 students from Miriam College, UP Diliman and Rajah Muda High School of Pikit attended the Forum and Opening Session of the deepening Seminar.

The forum was done in cooperation with the Theology Department of the HEU represented by Renato de la Cruz and the CLE Area of the High School represented by Jaime Villafuerte.

The participants from the Rajah Muda High School and the MC High School continued with their sessions until February 7.
