Special Resource Centers

BALLET CENTER

For over 20 years, the Miriam Ballet Center has been training classical performing artists, especially among our students. Our graduates have been accepted into prestigious ballet companies such as the UP Filipiniana, Ballet Philippines and the Philippine Ballet Theater.
CENTER FOR
APPLIED MUSIC

The Center for Applied Music is dedicated to the pursuit of musical excellence. To support this vision, we organize short courses, workshops and performances conducted by eminent pedagogues and brilliant artists of local and international fame. In 2000, the Metro Manila Community Orchestra, under Musical Director Josefino “Chino” Toledo and Artistic Director Alfonso “Coke” Bolipata found its home at Miriam College, and has since enhanced the appreciation of art and culture within the community.
GROWTH, UPGRADING, AND RESOURCE CENTER
The Growth, Upgrading and Resource Office (G.U.R.O.) is a teacher training center offering professional development programs to the Miriam College faculty and to external groups and individuals. We bring the resources of Miriam College to the service of public and private schools as well as local government and low-income partner communities as part of the institution’s response to the needs of Philippine education.
INTEGRATED LIFESTYLE
AND WELLNESS CENTER

To address the total wellbeing of its employees, Miriam College established the Integrated Lifestyle and Wellness (I.L.A.W.) Center in 2006. Allied with the school’s Human Resources Division, we provide programs and services that aim to educate, promote, and provide holistic health among the school's employees.

LANGUAGE LEARNING CENTER
The Language Learning Center is a special program that provides quality instructional services to male and female, local and international students to learn English and other foreign languages to develop proficiency in their communication skills.
