Miriam College offers Certificate Courses in Computer Technology in recognition of the impact of global leaps in information technology and the need for the country to come up with a human resource pool that will fill in the requirements of IT-aided operations in government and private businesses.

The 2-Year Certificate Course, Associate in Computer Technology offers the students a line-up of subjects aimed at developing their skills and competencies in computer management, operations, and software applications. These courses are taken in tandem with subjects in the humanities and sciences, in the hope of turning out technicians who are conversant with new information technology as well as versed in the art of communications, economics, psychology, political science, and community involvement.

The 1-Year Pre-Certificate Course, develops the abilities and skills of hearing-impaired students in the basics of computer operations and prepares them to cope with normal classroom conditions with subjects under the regular curriculum. The follow-on 2-Year Certificate Course, Associate in Computer Technology, is a specialized course that hopes to eventually channel them into the mainstream of social and economic enterprise. It equips them with the fundamentals of computer technologies, software applications, and desktop generated publications.
