Business Administration

The Business Administration program of Miriam College offers the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration course with three different majors:
1) Marketing Management
2) Financial and Investments Management, and
3) Electronic Business.

These courses aim to transform students into professional career specialists and decision-makers in the corporate world of the new millennium who are steeped in the principles of business as well as in the Miriam core value of integrity, a convergence of knowledge and character traits needed by the country.

Marketing Management students are made to focus their attention on management principles and techniques and on the latest trends in market research that accelerate organizational and product development.  Mastery in these techniques enables the student to be creative in the design of market indicators and other instruments that aid production and sales.

B.A. students majoring in Financial and Investments Management receive a type of education that exposes them to the current realities in the Philippine business environment.  They are trained, theoretically and hands-on, in accounting principles, financial systems, and investment promotions, which enable them to fit snugly in the country’s fast-rising industrial estates and in ace manufacturing and business enterprises.

The Electronic Business course is a cutting-edge program that is responsive to the needs of the Philippine economy.  Students are given a strong background in business management while making extensive use of computer technologies that are in step with global practices.  The curriculum is rooted on sound business transacting that recognizes intellectual property rights and commercial laws, thus turning out responsible business leaders.
