Psychology

The Psychology program adopts an interdisciplinary approach to the study of human behavior.  It is designed to provide the students with the basic knowledge and technical skills in the understanding and management of human behavior.  The program aims to help students develop practical skills in predicting and influencing human behavior in order that they may better understand and direct their lives and make an impact on the lives of others.

Miriam Psychology students are given a further edge.  Alongside intensive major area studies, students take up courses in sociology, and anthropology together with courses in philosophy, communications and foreign languages that will help them find niches in the business, clinical, academic, and other related settings.  The minimum requirement is a genuine interest in people.

The Bachelor of Science in Psychology curriculum incorporates more physical and biological sciences in preparation for those who wish to pursue higher scientific, medical, and paramedical professions upon graduation.
