LIBRARY
The library is among the greatest
secrets to a well-lived high school life.
Time well spent here assures students of an excellent
preparation for college, and for life in general,
because study and research have become a matter
of information and knowledge management.
The MCHS library is fully automated.
Its GSoftLISA automation system allows access locally
and internationally through this website:
www.mc.edu.ph/library.
EDUCATIONAL MEDIA CENTER
The MCHS EMC is a service facility
housing various instructional media materials collections,
equipment collections, production facilities, and
a trained staff. This office provides the community
with instructional materials and technology support
services required for academic and MCHS-sponsored
non-academic programs.
CASHIER
The Cashier receives payments for
tuition and other fees. The Cashier also receives
collections for field trips and other major activities
for safekeeping. The person-in-charge of such collections
has to fill up the appropriate form and keep this
for clearance purposes.
BOOKSTORE
School supplies and other basic items
are sold at the bookstore, which is located beside
the High School clinic. Books may be purchased at
the beginning of the school year or may be rented
at a minimal cost. The booklist for each year level
is available before the end of the school year or
during the registration period.
CLINIC AND HEALTH SERVICES
The clinic provides the services
of a school doctor, dentist, and a registered nurse.
The clinic staff attends to all minor physical injuries
and also conducts annual physical and dental examinations
for the students, personnel, faculty and administrators.
CAFETORIUM
The Cafetorium is open to all. The
main eating area is on the first floor where snacks
and cold drinks are available throughout the day.
Hot meals are served from 12 noon to 1:00 P.M. daily.
The faculty dining room, terrace, and a multi-purpose
area, where school functions and other activities
are held, are on the second floor of the Cafetorium.
LOCKERS
At the beginning of each school year,
the students are provided with lockers for their
use. Lockers are assigned on either a single or
sharing basis. Students are responsible for the
neatness and orderliness of their lockers. They
should provide their own locks and should keep their
lockers secure at all times.
Lockers are meant to provide personal
space for their school bags, jackets, lunch boxes
so as not to clutter their desks. Students are encouraged
to keep basic necessities for feminine hygiene in
their lockers at all times.
