Scholarships and Financial Assistance

Miriam College High School offers the following forms of support to deserving students, in recognition of their hard work, perseverance, and passion for learning

St. Joseph Scholarship Award

This is awarded to a graduating Miriam College Grade School student who is financially in need. The candidate should be at least an above average student and must have very good entrance examination results. Moreover, she must possess good moral character and promising leadership qualities. This grant entitles the student one year of free tuition fee. It may be maintained if the student manifests good academic performance and very good behavior.

Scholarship for Students from Public Elementary Schools

This is intended for poor and deserving students from nearby public schools. They come as walk-in applicants and several are usually recommended by the Ateneo Tulong-Dunong Program. The top five examinees from the set of qualified applicants are interviewed by a committee. Two to five students are granted this four-year scholarship that includes free tuition, basic, and miscellaneous fees and subsidies for textbooks, subscriptions, uniforms, and graduation attire.

Endowment Fund

The scholarship program is envisioned to give financially needy but academically qualified students a powerful incentive in free tuition and fees.
