Our alma mater was founded in 1926 but it was only 22 years after that an alumni organization was formally created. The Maryknoll College Alumni Association set out with a goal of maintaining and enhancing the commitment and spirit of unity amongst alumni as well as to support the school in its objectives. It also aims to create opportunities for volunteerism and fellowship among the alumni and to enable them to maintain ties with the MC Community.
This 2019, the Maryknoll/Miriam College Alumni Association (MMCAA) is celebrating 40 years of incorporation, with an alumni body of more than 30,000 - Maryknoll and Miriam graduates across the years from all the different units and campuses…all whom we are proud to call Knollers.
For this milestone year, the MMCAA is undertaking several projects: the “GalingMC Job Fair” held on January 28 which linked companies - those affiliated with alumni in particular - with the current crop of Miriam students/graduates; a special showing of Ballet Philippines’ “Tales of the Manuvu” on March 24 - the biggest project the organization has undertaken to date; a sports event and other projects designed to enhance engagement and interaction amongst alumni. Together with the AEO, the MMCAA also enhanced alumni induction ceremonies with the “Welcome, Alumni!” activity, including the playing of this new video commissioned by the 2019 Board of Trustees to better to introduce the organization to new graduates and encourage them to connect and give back with our alma mater.
