Maryknoll College alumna Nina Daza-Puyat (GS ‘76, HS ‘80) gifted the Maryknoll/Miriam College Family of Authors (MMCFA) a copy of her imprimatured novena prayer, “Mahal na Ina ng Kusina”. During the event, Nina spoke of her continued dedication to Our Lady of Maryknoll and that her inspiration for the prayer came from the realization that Mary was also earthly Mother as she took care of Jesus. Sparkling Sapphires are Godmothers to Five Scholars from the HEU

Alumnae from College Class 1973 support five HEU scholars by participating in the Godmother Project of the HEU Admissions Office. The Godmother Project helps scholars finance their everyday needs like transportation, meals, and other miscellaneous expenses. Through their gift, our scholars are better equipped for school. They can focus more on their academic and extra-curricular activities rather than sources of daily funding.

After hosting a successful Homecoming celebration “Galing MC” for 2018, HS 1993 gifts Miriam College with Seven Hundred Thousand Pesos (Php 700,000.00) to help build the MC-Henry Sy, Sr. Innovation Center’s i-Hub. Represented by Carla Villanueva-Yaptinchay, their donation aims to “help ensure that the school will continue to mold students who are Galing MC, through the help of other alumnae who are Galing MC as well”.
