This program provides knowledge in basic professional education courses. It includes topics in the principles of education, educational psychology, principles and techniques of teaching as well as the measurement, evaluation, managing and monitoring student learning.

Applicants of this program must have completed a Bachelor's degree in any field and intends to teach at the secondary education level.



Second Language Learning and Teaching

This is a 36-hour (6 days from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM) introductory, yet comprehensive and intensive course that provides teachers with the essential knowledge and background in second language learning, teaching, and assessment. This course aims to equip the teachers with the essential theories, skills, techniques, and strategies in teaching and assessing the student’s learning of a second language.
