PROGRAM COORDINATOR | General Administration

The Center for Strategic Research (CSR) seeks a Program Coordinator (Research Management).  The duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Coordinate the activities of Miriam College Research Council
  • Assist in finalizing the institutional research agenda
  • Coordinate with Unit Research Coordinators/Committees on the Unit Research Plans
  • Assist in identifying reviewers/referees for research proposals submitted as part of Research Grants Program
  • Assist the reviewers/referees of research proposals in the use of Electronic Research Management System
  • Consolidate review results and prepare the list of research grantees
  • Prepare Memoranda of Agreement of research grantees and facilitate their approval
  • Coordinate the orientation of research grantees
  • Conduct institutional research as the need arises
  • Coordinate research activities of Consortium of Women’s Colleges and other external agencies
  • Write grant proposals, when the need arises
  • Conduct fact-checking of research and research related information
  • Perform other duties as may be required from time-to-time 

Candidate should have completed a Bachelor’s degree with experience in grants proposal writing, and strong background in statistics & quantitative research.

Candidate must have good oral and written communication skills, efficient organizational and interpersonal skills, proficient in computer applications and able to manage multiple tasks.




INTERNATIONAL PARTNERSHIPS COORDINATOR | Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs

The Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs (OVPAA) seeks an International Partnerships Coordinator 

The duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Process and maintain record of proposals/ requests for partnerships to concerned offices;
  • Assist the VPAA, Academic Unit Heads, and OSSAS in facilitating the negotiation/drafting of Memorandum of Agreements (MOA) or Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), including the monitoring of its review by the school counsel;
  • Assist the VPAA, Academic Unit Heads, and OSSAS in ensuring active communication with partner schools/ private/public organizations in the planning and implementation of academic partnership and exchange agreements;
  • Release announcements of approved outbound programs for student or faculty participation; 
  • Assist the VPAA, Academic Unit Heads, and OSASS in the administrative and logistical coordination of the programs and projects;
  • Monitor the progress of the partnerships, including the planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of its agreed programs and activities;
  • Assist the VPAA, Academic Unit Heads, and OSSAS in coordinating with government agencies in relation to partnerships and programs;
  • Assist exchange faculty and students in processing the required travel documents
  • Handle receipt of the required documentations pertinent to the participation in inbound and outbound programs;
  • Coordinate with concerned offices for the pre-departure orientation; and training of participants, including parent orientations, if needed;
  • Prepare office correspondence, reports, and other pertinent documents;
  • Coordinate with Finance on related matters
  • Maintain and file forms and other reports in preparation for PAASCU and ISO visits.

The candidate should have completed a Bachelor’s degree in any related field with extensive networking experience. 

Candidate must have excellent command of the English language, proficient in administrative, communication and computer application skills, with good moral character, has high energy level and proactive disposition.





Job description: Laboratory Teacher/Assistant is responsible for monitoring the general upkeep, maintenance, security, and improvement of all facilities and utilities in the Science Laboratory.


  1.  Must have a college degree related to Science, preferably major in Chemistry 
  2. Good verbal and written communication
  3. Coordination and customer service skills 
  4. Experience and knowledge in Research 
  5. Organization and planning skills 
  6. With attention to details 

Job responsibilities:  

  1. Maintain laboratory equipment, materials and chemicals
  2. Preventive maintenance and general housekeeping including the management of waste, labeling and storage of solutions, and reagents
  3. Prepare materials, chemicals and equipment prior to classes
  4. Keep records, catalogue and manage the stock control of chemicals and equipment
  5. Work well with others and coordinate with supervisor and colleagues
  6. Conduct periodic evaluation and keep inventory of all equipment, materials and reagents necessary for the entire school year 
  7. Support Science teachers in classes and laboratory sessions
  8. Assist students in their IP and Research work during non-class hours 
  9. Ensure safety procedures at all times

  • Applicant must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or Bachelor of Sports Science degree or similar degrees
  • Having a teaching license or education units/master’s degree will be an advantage 
  • Can teach both sports and dance
  • Proficient in the use of the English language
