MC signs MOU with Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia

MC recently signed a five-year Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia. This MOU aims to enhance relations between the two schools in the areas of education, research, and student and faculty exchanges for undergraduate and graduate programs for the coming school year.

Present during the signing were (from left) Applied Arts Chair Rino Datuin; Leisure and Tourism Management (LTM) Chair Dr. Ruby Alminar-Mutya; Atma Jaya MBA Program Head of Dr. rer.pol. A.Y. Agung Nugroho;  Atma Jaya Dean of Faculty of Business Administration and Communication Dr. Eko Widodo; Miriam College President Dr. Rosario O. Lapus; Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Maria Lourdes Baybay; College of Business, Entrepreneurship, and Accountancy (CBEA) Dean Dr. Tony Lopez; LTM faculty  Allan Tang; and College of Education Dean Dr. Rose Aligada.

The MOU signing is part of a four-day study tour of 25 Marketing undergraduates from Atma Jaya Catholic University. Their first day was spent at the MC-HSSIC, where they participated in a Design Thinking Workshop delivered by Dr. Trixie Marie Sison. This was followed by two lectures on ASEAN and its Business Environment by HEU faculty members Bobet Romualdo and Leonardo Quinitio. On the second day, the students visited the Asian Development Bank and later met the Indonesian Ambassador at the embassy.

Their last day was spent having a company tour at Sutherland Global Services in BGC Taguig and a cultural tour around Manila.

The visit was organized by CBEA’s LTM department.
