Filipina CEO Circle (FCC) is composed of 43 female leaders from various industries such as advertising, information technology, finance, international relations, business processing, insurance, arts and more. FCC was born out of the advocacy in supporting women and the younger generation to maximize their full potential in the business world. This desire developed the forum “Inspired Conversations” and was launched last September 15, 2019. They’ve been bringing this forum since then to universities and colleges to share their stories of achievement, challenges they faced and provide insightful advice in overcoming obstacles in male-dominated industries.
Our college students had a chance to have “Inspired Conversations” with these Filipina CEOs last October 21 in which the panel include: Susan Dimacali, FCC’s PR and Marketing Head, Margie Moran-Floirendo, Cultural Center of the Philippines Chairman of the Board, Karrie Ilagan, Managing Director at CISCO, Rhodora Campos, Infosys Country Head, Beth Ventura, President of Anchor Land Holdings, Inc., Tina Salmo, Mortgage Banking Country Head at JP Morgan Chase & Co and Karen Roa, First Metro Asset Management President. Out of the seven (7), two of them were our very own alumni, Margie Moran-Floirendo of College 1978 and Karen Roa of High School 1986. The panel also asked the attendees what could help them understand their generation better, that’s when real conversation began.
We thank FCC for visiting our campus and the students were definitely inspired.
