The Department of International Studies (IS) hosted the Third Model United Nations in Miriam College from April 7-8 at the Middle School, LMC Building. About 200 undergraduate IS students joined as delegates representing 35 UN Members States in the different committees such as the General Assembly, Second Committee, Fourth Committee, Committee 34 (Special Committee on Peacekeeping Operations), Commission on the Status of Women and Human Rights Council.

Sr. Teresita Perez, M.M. recently visited Miriam College Nuvali where she reunited with Miriam College administrators and former colleagues over lunch. She was warmly welcomed by Miriam College President Dr. Rosario O. Miriam College signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with the Philippine Daily Inquirer (PDI), one of the country’s leading broadsheets. As PDI strives to innovate its classified ads, the MOA will strengthen the institution’s efforts to provide meaningful and strategic Career Development Program for its Higher Education and Miriam Adult Education graduates. The College of Business Entrepreneurship and Accountancy (CBEA) in collaboration with the Institutional Partnerships and Programs Office (IPPO) hosted 21 students and two professors from the Business Academy Aarhus-University of Applied Sciences of Denmark last March 12-13.

The Institutional Partnerships and Programs Office (IPPO), in partnership with Philippine Daily Inquirer, Diplomazee, RD Zen, Hallo-Hallo, Kalibrr, and Jobs180, organized a job fair from March 22-24 at the Henry Sy, Sr. Innovation Center.
