Outstanding MC Alumnae inspire at the 2019 BEU Graduation Ceremonies

Miriam College alumnae inspired thousands of graduates as commencement speakers at the recently concluded graduation ceremonies of the Basic Education Unit. They shared personal stories of resilience and courage, and most importantly how their Miriam College education played a vital role in shaping their work, advocacies, and the people they have become today.

The following outstanding alumnae made up the roster of SY 2018-2019’s commencement speakers:

-    Josefa Consunji-Reyes (COL 1968), Director of Semirara Mining and Power Corporation, for Miriam Adult Education

-    Carolyn Dagani (SAID HS 1988, COL 1991), Deaf Advocate and President of the Philippine Federation of the Deaf, for MC Southeast Asian Institute for the Deaf

-    Farah Ghodsinia (GS 2005, HS 2009) Peace Ambassador to the President and Founder of Children of Mindanao, for Miriam College High School

-    Liza Morales-Crespo (GS 1986, HS 1990), Principal of Liza Crespo Ecotecture, for the Miriam College Middle School

-    Priscilla Florentino (COL 1968), CEO of Music Museum Company, Inc. for MC Nuvali

The graduation ceremonies of the Higher Education Unit will be held in May.
