Miriam College Lower School has a good academic program that transitions from pre-school to middle school. For young students from pre-school, the lower school academic program teaches students in fun, engaging game environments. For students moving to middle school, the MCLS academic program includes introductory lessons in foreign languages, advance math and science to equip older students for middle school courses.

Even within an academic environment, MCLS presents school activities for the holistic development of its students. This is done in collaboration between parents and the school. Family Days, parenting seminars and outreach programs expose students beyond books and theory. The MCLS administration also prepares activities that engage students and their teachers outside the academic setting. All these make serious learning fun.
