I spent the best years of my life in the beautiful grounds of Maryknoll, which were so conducive to learning: wide open spaces, lush greenery, and clean, fresh air. Maryknoll was my second home, and my teachers and classmates were my extended family. The ties that bind us classmates are so strong because we literally grew up together and experienced all the growing pains and highs together. 
 
Aside from academics, we were taught to always think of the less fortunate and that has stayed with me all my life. I remember going to Saturday playdays when I was in Grade 4 and I would help set the table, feed the kids, and we would play with them afterwards. There was always some kind of project or relief effort that we were asked to help out with and that made me grow up always mindful of how I could share my blessings with others. 
 
My Maryknoll training also taught me how to be confident in any social situation. I’m able to strike a conversation with all persons from different backgrounds - whether it is a government official or the man on the street. I will always be grateful to my Maryknoll Education for giving me a complete, holistic and very well-rounded education.

MC was my home for 12 years and it shaped who I am today. It was a safe space to learn and grow surrounded by the caring faculty and support staff. This encouraging environment gave me the confidence to dream and the will to do the right thing. I'll always be grateful to MC for the education it gave me both inside and outside the classroom.
