Missy Maramara

My formative years in Miriam College made me the woman I am today.

Every component that comprises the entire Miriam education -- classroom lessons, outreach immersions, environmental projects, club presentations, intramural competitions, teaching styles, and learning facilities -- fortified my strengths by developing my talents and transformed my weaknesses by providing caring support. I learned to harness my multiple passions for a deeper, selfless purpose, to blaze trails with courage, humility, and compassion, and to find strength in the acts of empowering the oppressed. My Miriam education gave me the vision, direction, drive and capability to turn all my dreams into a reality and create a life of profound purpose and joy. I am so proud to be a Miriam Alumna, a Knoller who, by the grace of Mary, continuously aspires a life lived for Christ.
