In celebration of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, and in our continued commitment to the promotion of women empowerment and leadership in STEM, Miriam College is proud to collaborate with the American Spaces of the U.S. Embassy in the Philippines, American Film Showcase, and TESDA Women’s Center in hosting a special screening and discussion of the short documentary film “Gadget Girls” by Rise Sanders-Weir on Friday 26 February 2021 2:00-3:00pm via Zoom.

The Miriam College Department of International Studies (MC-IS) has held another virtual Lecture Series with Regional Experts titled, “Transcending Regional Boundaries Across Virtual Realities” that commenced last February 12, 2021, with Dr. Baogang He, the Chair of the International Relations at Deakin University, Australia specializing in Chinese politics, Asian regionalism and Asian multiculturalism.
