Dear HEU Students,
Greetings!
Soon, we will welcome you to a new school year, and to KNOLLER, our online campus!
I am writing to share with you the enrollment guidelines for the incoming SY. You will notice that it is different from the usual. This is because beginning the first semester of SY 2020-2021, delivery of learning in the Miriam College HEU will be modular. Three courses will be offered per 9 weeks and another three courses for the next nine weeks, to complete one semester. Programs with licensure examinations may offer up to 4 courses per 9 weeks.
We decided to make this move as we are doing online learning this semester. Knowing the consequences of the pandemic, we thought that limiting the number of courses in what we call a cycle will be best for your physical, mental and emotional health. This form of delivery is also friendlier to those with other responsibilities. Additionally, students may choose to enroll partially, say just one cycle for a semester, if funds and other obligations pose a challenge.
We will soon release a primer that will give you more details on the changes that will take place due to our shift to online learning. We will also conduct student orientations that will walk you through our learning management system as well as the modular approach to learning.
May God’s blessings and protection be upon you always.
See you at KNOLLER soon!
