Why Choose CSC?

  • LEARNER-CENTERED CURRICULUM

Our curriculum utilizes an Integrated-Thematic Approach to teaching where children engage in diverse activities that give them meaningful opportunities to interact and collaborate with their peers and teachers. Our students also engage in STEAM-based activities that include design-thinking and robotics, where they are engaged to ask questions, explore, investigate, discover, problem-solve, create, and innovate.

  • AUTHENTIC ASSESSMENT OF CHILDREN’S PROGRESS

We use an efficient system of monitoring and evaluating student progress based on ongoing assessments. These include anecdotal records of the child’s behavior and daily performance, performance-based and authentic assessments, portfolios, and narrative reports.

  •
  • STRONG PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN THE HOME AND THE SCHOOL

The CSC Parents are true partners in education as they are very much involved when they volunteer to become resource speakers in class, attend regular Parent-Teacher Conferences, participate in activities of the Parent-Teacher Association, and much more. All these generate strong support for the school.

  • STIMULATING TEACHING-LEARNING ENVIRONMENT

Our teaching-learning environment includes child-friendly learning areas, natural green spaces, and age-appropriate materials that promote effective communication and collaboration skills, creativity, and critical thinking.

  •
  • A SPECIAL YEAR-END AND CULMINATING ACTIVITY

The CSC students present an original Filipino children’s stage play written and directed by the school’s faculty and administrators which highlights the language, cognitive, social-emotional, and physical skills that the children have gained throughout the school year.

  • PARTNERSHIP WITH OTHER EDUCATIONAL COMMUNITIES

We have extensive networking, benchmarking and engagement with local and international schools to advance global competitiveness and academic excellence.

Learning Areas

Our Learning Areas, both indoor and outdoor, allow children to learn in the way they learn best: through play! Aside from learning new concepts and skills, play encourages children to be creative, collaborate with peers and become more self-aware.

Design Thinking

At CSC, we see children as true masters of wonder and imagination. These characteristics are what makes them natural creators, inventors, innovators, and problem-solvers. We develop these characteristics through the "design thinking" approach to problem-solving and equipping them with a mindset that encourages them to ask questions, empathize, work together, take risks, try out their ideas, and persevere.
