Associate in International Culinary Arts

Associate degree in International Culinary Arts is a comprehensive two-year program for Food and Beverage practitioners. It is a ladderized program that leads to a BS Entrepreneurship major in Culinary Arts.

What Will I Study?

Below are certificate courses with credits to an Associate degree in International Culinary Arts. These courses may be taken individually and are are open to students, food enthusiasts, homemakers, professionals, and aspiring culinary entrepreneurs.

Certificate in Basic Culinary Arts is a fifteen (15) module, six (6) unit course that prepares the student for an entry-level culinary career. This certificate course focuses on the foundation skills needed by an aspiring culinarian. After finishing this course, you can qualify to become a sous chef, line cook, kitchen staff, or chef. Taste Series are specialty classes which focus on specific cuisines such as Japanese, Thai, French, Italian, and regional Filipino. Learn more about this series >
How-To Series are technique-based classes on food production and product manufacturing. Sausage-making, bottling, smoking are some of the featured classes. Learn more about this series >
Entrepreneur's Kitchen are classes that feature critical thinking and know-how for food and beverage entrepreneurs. Topics include recipe costing, catering management, cost control procedures, restaurant accounting and the like.
