Global Affairs and Diplomacy

The Bachelor of Arts in Global Affairs and Diplomacy (BAGD) is a unique program that specializes in the analysis of political economic issues and challenges contingent to humanitarian diplomacy. The program, through various theoretical and analytical frameworks, highlights the function of foreign policy, international laws, economic and humanitarian operations, area studies, and diplomatic negotiations.

Students will be equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary for navigating the political and economic landscape at the local and international levels. Students of this course will have a well-rounded appreciation of the nexus between domestic politics or political actors and economic contexts through the use of theories, conceptual frameworks, and methodological concepts from the fields of political science, economics, and law. They will also be responsive to the recent events of emergencies, disasters, crises including pandemics across nations in recent years.
