Foreign Students

A Foreign Student is an applicant whose citizenship is not Filipino.

Miriam College also has exchange agreements with colleges and universities around the world. Most exchange students take our courses for one full semester or one academic year. Visit your school's international linkages office to inquire if your school has an ongoing exchange program with Miriam College.

Application Procedure

  1. Download and accomplish the LLC Application Form.
  2. Submit your Application through any one of the following:
    • Email: llc@mc.edu.ph
    • Personally submit a printed copy by visiting our office
  3. Submit the admission requirements to the LLC Office
  4. Obtain an Assessment Form from the LLC staff.
  5. For Transferees: submit copy of grades and undergo interview with the Admissions Officer.
  6. Pay the application and testing fee (PhP 400) at the Cashier's Office
  7. Pay the SSP Fee (PhP 4,740), SSP Processing Fee (PhP 1,000), and ACR-I Card ($50) at the Admissions Office.
    The Bureau of Immigration requires all foreign students who wish to enroll in a non-degree course for less than one (1) year to secure a Special Study Permit (SSP) upon application to the school of choice in the Philippines.
  8. Submit the receipt/s to the Language Learning Center.
  9. Take the diagnostic exam on the scheduled date.
  10. Get the test results and program schedule after (3) three days.
Admission Requirements Checklist
  1. 3 pcs. 2” x 2” ID pictures
  2. 1 pc. 1” x 1” ID picture 
  3. Medical certificate (with English translation) and photocopy of travel/medical insurance
  4. Notarized Affidavit of Guardianship and Support prepared by the applicant enrollee or by parent-guarantor stating financial support for the applicant (For applicants below 17 years old)
  5. Notarized Affidavit of Self-Support stating the applicant’s financial capacity to shoulder related expenses (For applicants 18 years old and above)
  6. Photocopy of applicant’s passport showing its bio-page, admission, and authorized stay
  7. Testing fee of PhP400.00
  8. *SSP (Special Study Permit) Fee-PhP 4,740.00 (per Philippine Bureau of Immigration)
  9. SSP Processing Fee (PhP1,000.00 per student)
  10. *ACR I-card - $50 (If applicable, based on current exchange rate)
