Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL)

This 64-hour (8 days) introductory, yet comprehensive and intensive training course on Teaching English as a Second Language provides teachers with the essential knowledge and background in second language learning, teaching, and assessment. This course aims to equip the teachers with basic theories, skills, techniques, and strategies in teaching English and assessing the student’s learning of English as a second language.

 

Second Language Learning and Teaching

 

This is a 36-hour (6 days from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM) introductory, yet comprehensive and intensive course that provides teachers with the essential knowledge and background in second language learning, teaching, and assessment. This course aims to equip the teachers with the essential theories, skills, techniques, and strategies in teaching and assessing the student’s learning of a second language.

Academic Writing for Graduate Students

 

This enrichment course centers on outcomes-based and assessment-driven language learning experiences. It provides students with opportunities to master the process of writing an academic paper.

  • Day 3: Refinement to Perfection
 

Beyond Borders: Writing and Presenting Conference Papers

 

This two-day seminar–workshop aims to equip the participants with the essential knowledge and skills in preparing, writing, and presenting conference papers.
