Last September 12-18, the Child Study Center held its Caregivers’ Education Seminar. It was attended by 100 caregivers across all levels both for the morning and afternoon sessions.

While the “yayas” proudly shared their own stories and experiences about the children under their care, the CSC teachers who facilitated the seminar, gave them tips, strategies, ideas and also opportunities for them to learn new things about their work. 
They learned about children’s development and how to communicate with them. They also learned ways on how to take care of themselves so they could also respond to the needs of children better.  Lastly, they learned about First Aid and how to act wisely at times of emergencies.

At the end of the seminar, the caregivers were more confident and equipped to do their work effectively. They also gained a more positive perspective to the kind of work they do.
