Solidarity in Peace Performance Art Festival 2017 held at MC

Miriam College Museum - Gallery of Women's Art (GAWA), in coordination with HEU-ADSA and MC Likhang Sining spearheaded the Solidarity in Peace Performance Art Festival 2017 (SIPAF 2017) last September 14, 2017 at Miriam College.

Performances from artists, Hermie Pineda (Philippines), Lorina Javier (Philippines), Ronadae Ruiz (Philippines), Mrat Lunn Htwann (Myanmar), He Libin (China), Seiko Kitayama (Japan), Riko Takahashi (Japan), Ee Areumnari (Korea), Eidglass Xavier (Brazil) and Eric Scott Nelson (USA) showed different stories of sacrifice and human suffering that aim to raise awareness about socio-political issues, love, peace, and solidarity.

Each performance was uniquely executed in accordance with the artists’ way of expression.

SIPAF 2017 is an international event by SIPA Pinas, an artist-organized performance art festival/project in the Philippines that promotes cultural-exchange, solidarity and peace.
