The Entrepreneurship Educators Association of the Philippines Inc. (ENEDA), together with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the King Mongkut
University of Technology-Thonburi (KMUTT) in Thailand, co-organized the 3rd International Conference on Entrepreneurship (ICE 2018) to create an initial
platform and alliance of professionals of higher education institutions among ASEAN
nations.
"Our aim is to uphold business and innovation mindset that mainstream Sustainable
Development Goals (SDG), particularly the SDG 2030 agenda for Entrepreneurship. We want to substantially increase the number of youth and adults who
have relevant skills—including technical and vocational skills— for employment, decent jobs, and entrepreneurship," says, ENEDA president Dr. Elaine L. Boquiren.
She is also the Graduate Program Coordinator of the College of Business, Entrepreneurship and Accountancy (CBEA) of Miriam College.
The conference, themed "Forging ASEAN Alliance of Education on Innovation,
Entrepreneurship, and Business towards Sustainable Development Goals," was held at
the United Nations Conference Center-Thailand Country Office and at the King Mongkut
University of Technology-Thonburi, Thailand, in February 2018.
Dr. Udom Kachintorn, the Minister of Education of Thailand welcomed the participants.
