The Travel Bureau, the in-house travel and tours agency of Miriam College, was recognized as one of the Most Valuable Partners in Education for 2017 by Travel People, Inc., a leading travel agency in the country and Costa Cruises, an Italian Cruise Line.

The recognition, awarded last January 31, is given to travel agency partners that provide sales and support to Costa Cruise Lines. Miriam College’s The Travel Bureau, managed by the Leisure and Tourism Management students, is the only higher education institution that was given such recognition.

Receiving the award at the Diamond Hotel were Dr. Ruby F. Alminar-Mutya, chair of the Leisure and Tourism Management Department, and Allan Paul R. Tang, faculty coordinator of The Travel Bureau.
