Dr. Ruby F. Alminar-Mutya, chair of the Leisure and Tourism Management Department, and Allan Paul R. Tang, faculty coordinator, presented their research paper titled, “Perceptions of Tourism Stakeholders on Environmental Issues and Environmental Practices: A Philippine Context” at the 2nd International Conference on Tourism, Travel, Leisure and Hospitality. It was held last February 2-3. 
 
Hosted by the Holy Name University in Tagbilaran, Bohol, and the Social Science Research Society of Turkey, the two-day conference gathered academic researchers and policy makers who shared their knowledge, experiences, and insights in the field of tourism and hospitality. 
 
Participants from South Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines attended the event.
