The Miriam College community, led by the Miriam Identity, Spirituality, and Mission Office (MISMO), held several activities to observe the season of Lent.

Opening the season was the Institutional Way of the Cross held on March 23 in coordination with the High School Unit. A procession of the images of the Black Nazarene and the Mater Dolorosa was held accompanied by community songs and prayers to honor the Paschal offering of Jesus Christ.

On Holy Monday and Holy Tuesday, the Annual Employees’ Retreat for the different units was held. The overnight activity allowed employees to reflect and spend quiet time with Lord in anticipation of Easter.

For its part, MC GAWA, MC Likhang Sining, and the HEU Campus Ministry Office sponsored a Pabasa and a Palaspas-Making activity at the College Chapel to expose the community to traditional Filipino Lenten practices. The Pabasa was led by the Senior Choir of the St. Andrew the Apostle Parish of Norzagaray, Bulacan.
