As part of the Miriam Adult Education’s (MAE) commitment to the Schools Division of Marikina City, administrators, core faculty, and volunteers served as Resource Speakers during the Teacher Training-Outreach Program held last May 21 and May 24.

The Schools Division Office of Marikina City conducted a Division-wide In-Service Training for teachers across all learning areas with the theme “K-12 Teachers: Ready to Make a Change Towards Excellence in Education.”  MAE facilitated the training on the topic “Teaching as a Calling and a Vocation".

The trainings were held at the following participating schools: Parang Elementary School, Jesus Dela Pena Elementary School, Marikina Elementary School, Malanday Elementary School, Sto. Niño Elementary Schools, Concepcion Elementary School, Nangka Elementary School, and H. Bautista Elementary School.

Attending the training were more than 100 public school teachers from each subject area cluster across grade levels from Kinder to Grade 6.
