The formal awarding of the winners and finalists of the President’s Challenge was held at the Miriam College –Henry Sy, Sr. Innovation Center (MC-HSSIC) on February 12, 2019. The awarding ceremonies was led by Miriam College President Rosario O. Lapus.
Winning groups and finalists were each given a bulb-shaped trophy and cash amounting to Php15,000 and Php5,000, respectively. Coinciding with the awarding was the exhibition of prototypes of the successfully pitched projects.

The President’s Challenge is in line with the school’s thrust in innovation and celebrates the ability of students to generate big, bold ideas that lead to innovation and social impact. The competition was initiated by Dr. Rosario O. Lapus and implemented through the MC-HSSIC.
The Challenge involves pitching ideas that are research-based and solution-focused.
