Three students from the Departments of Communication, International Studies, and Psychology participated in the Asian Youth Leaders Travel and Learning Camp (AYLTLC) held in Singapore last February. The camp is an annual gathering of student leaders from top universities and colleges around the world. It aims to bring together young leaders to enhance their abilities in cross-cultural interaction and cooperation.

The program also highlights the uniqueness of Singapore as a multiracial, multilingual, and multicultural society, carrying different perspectives that has significantly shaped the Singaporean way of life and what Singapore is today. To give participants a first-hand experience of this way of life, exposure trips to the Urban Re-development Authority and NEW Water facilities were conducted.

Feedback from the students highlight lessons that include greater love for the Philippines and the ASEAN, stronger passion for sustainability, and strategic and meaningful youth leadership.
