The Miriam College team was a part of the 4th Public Health Convention on Mental Health which was held last 15th of October 2021. It was conducted via Zoom and livestreamed on the facebook page of Healthy Pilipinas. The team is headed by Dr. Grace PhD, RPsy, CSCLP with her co-investigator, Kachela Albert-Mariano, MA. Among the presenters were Miriam College faculty Ms. Kristine Faith C. Moral, RPm and graduate program students Julla Katrina D.P. Jose, RPm, and Martha Anna Remedios N. Umali, RPm.

The theme of the 4th Public Health Convention on Mental Health is “Grateful and Hopeful: Building a Resilient Mental Health System”. In this convention, there were various presentations revolving around the theme. The Miriam College team’s presentation is entitled “School Community Well-being and Mental Health Care (WMHC)”. The team’s discussions were about their research report and protocol on mental health and well-being for school systems. At the end of the convention, most of the questions raised were about conducting research in this time of pandemic, and the contents of the protocol manual. It was an honor for the whole team to be able to present their research report and protocol manual to the numerous participants of the public health convention.
