Biography

Jenny is the first female to graduate Bachelor of Music Major in Guitar at the University of the Philippines College of Music under the tutelage of Prof. Lester Demetillo.

As a soloist for the acclaimed UP Guitar Orchestra, Jenny shared her passion and gift for music in performances around the country, most memorable of which was her Philippine premiere of Handel's Harp Concerto in A Major for Guitar and Guitar Orchestra. Her devotion to the protection of Philippine cultural heritage led her to record her first solo album "Guitar Journey", as a gift for the benefit of the "Adopt A Lumad Child to School" Project of the Tri-People's Concern for Peace, Progress and Development of Mindanao (TRICOM), Inc. She has also recorded National Artist Jose Maceda's STRATA as a guitarist of the UP Contemporary Music Players, UP Guitar Orchestra Live and Triple Fret's #GITARAFILIPINA.

She continues to perfect her art with master classes under Flavio Cucchi, Tomonori Arai, Steve Lin and Angelo Favis.

Jenny formed and is a member of the multi awarded all female guitar trio Triple Fret which has performed to audiences all over Europe and Asia.
