Biography

Loida Campos started voice lessons under German pedagogue, Katherine Sternberg. At UST she was a full scholar under the tutelage of Salvacion Opus Yniguez . As a performer, she has sung solo in concerts for Paco Park Presents, Concert at the Park, and the Cultural Center of the Philippines as well as international venues in Korea, Indonesia and Malaysia. Some memorable performances include roles in operas and sarswelas such as Die Fledermaus, West Side Story, La Traviata, and Walang Sugat. Her memberships also include the Opera Guild of the Philippines, Kayumangging Kaligatan under the late Ernani Cuenco, and the Coro Tomasino Vocal Ensemble.

She underwent trainings with Dr. Clarissa Ocampo on Vocal Pedagogy, Easing Up Vocal Tension and with Najib Ismail on Art of Accompaniment.

Her past affiliations include the Ryan Cayabyab Music Studio and the Colegio San Agustin.
