Biography

Dr. Michele Alignay is a board-certified psychologist, a speaker, and an award-winning author.  She is unique in that she can process everyday experiences through the filter of her education and expertise to create effectively doable learning sessions and programs for educational institutions, corporate organizations, and brands.

Her expertise includes family life and relationship, parenting, well-being, and healthy digital media education.  Through psychoeducation, Dr. Michele integrates extensive work experience and academic training on children, adults and families.

She has more than a decade experience of being a full-time guidance counselor for premiere exclusive school for girls.  Presently, she handles consulting work, and is a part-time lecturer at the Department of Psychology, and the Family Studies Program in Miriam College.

Being sought as an expert in various media, she also hosts her own livestream and podcast called, Coffee Break with Dr. Michele through Facebook, YouTube and Spotify, focusing on educating about better family life and well-being.

She is a pioneering expert in the country on advocating Digital Citizenship, especially healthy digital media use for children and families.  In 2017, she was invited to be part of the experts’ meeting at UNESCO Asia-Pacific Bangkok to complete the Digital Citizenship Framework.
