Biography

Sofia Soledad DG De Guzman is a faculty of the Department of Arts and Humanities in the High School Unit.

Ms. De Guzman is a champion of life career development. She was a Defense Research Officer for the National Defense College of the Philippines, has tried her hand at business, took the role of Grade Level Coordinator managing student well-being and discipline for 6 years, and was twice-elected as president of the Faculty Club of the High School.

The richness of her personal and professional background has led her to be one of the recipients of the Miriam College President's Awards for Teaching Excellence and a finalist of the President's Awards for Research.
