The President’s Challenge is an annual competition on innovation, design thinking, and project development. It recognizes Miriam College community’s hard work in generating BIG and BOLD ideas, which will lead to creative solutions that have an impact on the community, and, possibly, the whole country.

The President’s Challenge is an annual competition on innovation, design thinking, and project development. It recognizes Miriam College community’s hard work in generating BIG and BOLD ideas, which will lead to creative solutions that have an impact on the community, and, possibly, the whole country.

The 2021-2022 President’s Challenge is on! 

For the President’s Challenge 2021 - 2022, participants are given freedom to choose in any of the following categories, health education, educational technology and Well being technology. These topics are in line with the banner programs of Miriam College – technology Business Incubation (MC – TBI). Participants will be challenged to answer one driving question in any of the said categories.

  • HEALTH EDUCATION

    In what ways can we help others to avoid the spread of virus?
    In what ways can we encourage behaviours that improve public health?

  • EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY

    In what ways can we make classroom instruction more effective and engaging?
    In what ways can we promote inclusive education?

  • WELL-BEING TECHNOLOGY

    In what ways can we help promote positive mental health?
    In what ways can we use collaborative games / toys to improve mental health?

It may be based on their experiences at home, at school, within their communities, or in other relevant contexts. Students and Employees may opt to enhance a task / project that they have previously developed or is currently doing in their online classes. It is expected that each project entry should yield a specific product or service that has the potential for implementation and scaling.
