Psychology, major in Developmental Psychology

PhD in Psychology, major in Developmental Psychology, is a graduate program designed for students who have acquired a graduate degree in Psychology and wish to pursue higher studies and specialization in Developmental Psychology. Those who have acquired a graduate degree in a non-psychology program may also qualify provided that the necessary prerequisites and courses for the program are met.

In this program, students are trained to specialize in developmental psychology. They are provided with knowledge and skills pertaining to the nature of human development in various domains (i.e. cognitive, social, emotional, behavioral, moral, and physical) throughout the lifespan.

At the end of the program, graduates may work towards a certification as a specialist in Developmental Psychology. They may also become Human Development Consultants, Developmental Psychologists (engaging in research, assessment, program development and interventions), Parenting Experts, Academicians, and Administrators of Human Services Agencies.
