Foreign Students

Non-Filipino citizens including Filipino-born-and-naturalized American citizens who are applying for the first time in College are considered foreign applicants. Foreign students may apply as incoming First Year College students.

Foreign applicants who have taken units from another College or University are considered foreign-transfer applicants and will skip Step 1 and proceed to Step 2 in the application procedure.

Miriam College has exchange agreements with colleges and universities around the world. Most exchange students take our courses for one full semester or one academic year. Visit your school's international linkages office to inquire if your school has an ongoing exchange program with Miriam College.

Application Procedure

  1. Create an account on our Student Database Management System (SDMS).
    • Print billing invoice
    • If you experience technical difficulty in creating an account, please email coll-admission@mc.edu.ph.
  2. Download and accomplish the forms below:.
  3. Email the accomplished form and additional requirements below to coll-admission@mc.edu.ph:
    • Application Form
    • 2x2 photo
    • Transcript of Records or Certified True Copy of High School grades duly authenticated by the Philippine Foreign Service Establishment located at the student’s country of origin or legal residence
    • Clear photocopy of passport showing bio-page, admission stamp and authorized stay (present original passport for verification)
  1. Pay the application fee.
    • Present billing invoice and pay application fee of one hundred dollars (U$100) or its equivalent in Philippine Peso

    • Clear photocopy of passport showing bio-page, admission stamp and authorized stay (present original passport for verification)
    • 2 pieces of 2x2 photo
    • Recent copy of Transcript of Records or Certified True Copy of Grades from previous College or University (applicable to transfer applicants who have taken units from another College or University)

VISIT
Onsite submission of requirements to the Admissions Office will not be allowed at the moment. Please wait for further announcement.

  1. Claim your Official Receipt from the College Cashier and present it to the Admissions Office for updating of records.
    • Email the Admissions Office at coll-admission@mc.edu.ph and College Cashier at mctreasury@mc.edu.ph to request for a scheduled visit.
    • Only applicants with complete application requirements stated above will be processed.
  2. Interview with the Admissions Officer or Program Chairperson (Transfer Applicants ony)
    • Interview may be conducted at the time of submission of requirements or an appointment will be arranged.

You will receive your admission status via email. If you have questions regarding your admission status, please get in touch with the Admissions Office.

After acceptance to the college, submit original copies of requirements to the Admissions Office:

  • 2 pieces 2x2 photo
  • Application Form
  • Secondary School Record Form (in sealed envelope)
  • Recommendation Form for Adviser (in sealed envelope)
  • Recommendation Form for Guidance Counselor (in sealed envelope)
